GM TUNINGWe offer tuning support for almost all GM vehicles Certain GM vehicles require ECM unlocking to allow access for tuning. All 2017+ GM 8/10 speed transmissions require a TCM unlock from HP Tuners to allow any transmission tuning. The GM vehicle list below will show if you have a module in your vehicle that must be sent to HP Tuners for the unlock service. We offer tuning packages that include the unlocking, shipping, credits, and tuning. We handle it all for you! https://www.hptuners.com/vehicles/gm-tuning/

DODGE/RAM/JEEP TUNINGFor all 2015 + Dodge/Ram/Jeep, unlocking the PCM is required for aftermarket tuning. This service is included in our tuning package. For all 2018 + in addition to PCM unlock, the factory security gateway must be bypassed for tuning. We offer a smart access cable that needs to be installed, some vehicles may require removal of the radio or dash trim pieces. For the PCM unlock process we can send off the current PCM in the vehicle, there is typically around one week of downtime. The vehicle will be immobile when the PCM is removed for the unlock process. We do offer the option to get a pre-unlocked PCM, this eliminates downtime. In order to get a pre-unlocked PCM we will need to get a stock read, using your RTD or MPVI, from the vehicle and the VIN before ordering the new unlocked PCM.

HOW REMOTE TUNING WORKSFor the remote tuning process, you will need one of our remote tuning devices (RTD) pod. They can be found on our website here! RTD Pod | Czipar Performance Once you purchase and receive the RTD pod you will need to get the TDN app downloaded on your phone, the app can be found in the Google Play store or App Store. Once you get the TDN app set up you will need to get an invite code from us to link us to you as your tuner. The TDN App User Guide can be found here, a step-by-step process to set up your account on TDN and get us sent over a base file. https://www.cziparperformance.com/_files/ugd/67ba08_70eea054f15740ea838638c56951a842.pdf If your vehicle is not supported on the TDN app, you will need to use a windows-based laptop along with installing the VCM suite software from HP Tuners website. You will need to install the Beta software version if you are using a MPVI2 or MPVI3. https://www.hptuners.com/downloads/ If you are using a RTD pod, you will need to download RTD flasher https://files.hptuners.com/RTD%20Flasher/RTD%20Flasher.msi

DO I NEED A WIDEBAND?Most vehicles are only equipped with narrowband o2 sensors and are only accurate at part throttle. You will need to add a wideband installed in any cammed or boosted vehicle that does not have factory wideband o2 sensors. This includes all GM, other than C8 corvettes, all FORD 2011 and older, and all DODGE/JEEP/RAM/CHRYSTLER excluding Hellcat. For temporary installation, installing the wideband sensor in the rear o2 sensor location on either bank of the engine is ideal. The wideband being used must be able to provide data back to the HP Tuners VCM scanner for us to see the data. You can find the wideband that we use and recommend for tuning linked here!
